Bremer's Wine & Liquor Shipping Policy

Shipping Policy 

It takes approximately two to three business days to pull, assemble and process a typical order, including in-store pickups. If your order is time sensitive, please include a note in the comments field on the order confirmation page and call us at 315-768-6400. All orders are confirmed by e-mail after they are submitted.

You will be promptly notified by email of any unexpected delays in processing and/or shipping. During times of bad weather, we recommend using 2nd Day or Next Day shipping to avoid spoilage.

Please note; any orders submitted after 3:30 P.M. will not be processed until the next business day; orders place after 3:30P.M. on Friday will not be filled until the following Monday. For pick up items, your order is not ready for pick up until you have received the order confirmation stating that it is ready. Please do not try to pick up your order before you receive the "order ready" email confirmation as it will cause confusion and not guarantee prompt service.

All items shown on this website are believed to be in stock; however, it is possible that a given item, or specific vintage may be sold in our store during the time you process your order. In instances of older vintages and other rare bottles, we will do our best to fill your order but cannot be held responsible if an item is unobtainable at that time.

A restocking or cancellation fee of 10% will apply to any cancelled order that has been processed. Your sale is not complete until an employee of Bremer's Wine and Liquor has accepted and processed the order.

All orders, including orders designated for in-store pickup, must be paid in advance. No order will be considered complete until payment has been submitted. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. All credit card data is transmitted securely.

Please note that any of our free shipping promotions include 750 ml size bottles only, unless otherwise noted.

Billing Information
Orders placed on this website are not final. Your credit card is not charged automatically. A charge is put on your credit card after the product has been packed and the order is deemed complete. Please note that all credit cards are verified. You must provide a billing address that corresponds to the credit card you are using. If the billing address does not match the credit card you will be informed and the order will not be processed until we hear from you.

Shipping Charges

UPS handles all deliveries and bottle insurance is included on all orders. To receive a shipping quote for your order, please click the button below (you must have items in your cart to receive your shipping quote).

Wines of any size may be purchased for in-store pickup. No spirits may be shipped, or ordered online at this time. You may call in or email us your order for in-store liquor pickup or local delivery.

All shipping costs are estimated. Actual costs will be confirmed with you when your order is submitted. Shipping insurance is included in your price. If something is lost or broken, please inform us within two days and a call tag will be issued to pick up your original shipment at a chosen location; a new shipment will be sent once the merchandise has been returned.

Restricted States

Please note that some states have laws on the shipment of alcohol that prohibit us from shipping to addresses in those states. Click here to see a list of states that we are able to ship to at this time. We are also unable to ship orders to PO Boxes.

Shipping and Handling Costs

The shipping costs are automatically calculated at the time the order is placed. If you would like to know the shipping cost to a particular area, please select your items and enter your zip code in the shopping cart. Prices of our wines do not include shipping/handling charges, which vary depending on destination, number of bottles ordered and choice of delivery options. There is a flat rate handling cost of $5 added to every order and is included in the cost of shipping.

Age Verification
All customers must be 21 or older to order from our site and are required to prove that they are at least 21 years old at the time they place their first order. By placing an order through our website, you are representing yourself to us as at least 21 years of age and that the person to whom it is being shipped is at least 21 years of age. All wines that are shipped on your behalf must be received and signed for by an adult of legal drinking age. We recommend you have your order shipped to your business address unless you can confirm that an adult of legal drinking age will be at your home to receive the shipment.

Weather Damage

All wines are stored in our climate-controlled warehouse, but once they leave our facility we can no longer protect them from weather-related damage. Bremer's Wine and Liquor is not responsible for any wines that are damaged by excessive heat or cold during the shipping process. If weather-related damage is a concern, please select the 2nd Day or Next Day shipping options.

Local Pick-up

There is no charge for local pickup at our store. Please allow two to three business days for us to prepare your order. Please note - orders submitted online, after 3:30 P.M. on Friday will not be processed until the following Monday. If your order is time sensitive, please include a note in the comments field on the order confirmation page and call us. Your order is not ready for pick up until you have received the order confirmation stating that it is ready. Trying to pick up your order before you receive the "order ready" email confirmation will cause confusion and not guarantee prompt service.

Local Delivery Policy

We are now offering local delivery to the following towns and cities. All orders must be received by 3 pm the day prior to our delivery day in order to guarantee next day delivery.

We offer free local delivery to:

Clinton, Clark Mills, Deansboro, Franklin Springs, Kirkland , Whitesboro, New York Mills, Oriskany, Westmoreland, Yorkville, New Hartford, Chadwicks, Washington Mills, and Utica. Free delivery is available on orders of $150 or more only.

Delivery charges will be applied to smaller orders.

If you don’t see your area listed above and you are interested in delivery service, please contact us at 315-768-6400. Bremer's is pleased to offer delivery service to neighboring areas, on larger orders. Delivery fees many be applied.

Return Policy

Once wine or alcohol leaves our premises we cannot accept it back as per U.S Federal regulations concerning alcoholic products. Claims can only be made on damaged goods. If you have a concern about other products you have ordered, please contact Bremer’s directly at 315-768-6400 or email us at

Security and Privacy

Bremer's Wine and Liquor has the highest respect for our customers and is firmly committed to your privacy. We do not sell any of the information provided by you during registration to any other institutions. By registering to purchase on this website, you are automatically added to our e-newsletter, and direct mailing lists. If you wish to opt-out of our email list, you may use the unsubscribe link included in every e-mail. To opt-out of either electronic or postal mailings, please contact the store by phone, mail or e-mail.

Legal Disclaimer

The buyer assumes title of the wines once purchased. By arranging for transportation of the wine, we are providing a service to and acting on behalf of the purchaser. We make no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import any wines into any state. The buyer is solely responsible for the shipment of wine and other goods purchased and for determining the legality and the tax/duty consequences of having the wine shipped to him or her.
