Bonterra Cabernet Sauvignon 2015This Cabernet offers aromas of bright cherry, currant and raspberry with notes of toasted oak and vanilla. In the glass, you will find flavors of cherry and currant and a lingering and thoughtful finish. Good structure, a moderate weight, polished tannins and balanced acidity.
Frey Vineyards Organic Merlot 2016Supple flavors of cassis and cedary plum meld with soft tannins to create a luscious, silky expression. Pair with linguine with lemon-herb gremolata, blue-veined cheeses, or your favorite chocolate.
Santa Julia Organica Malbec 2014Santa Julia Made with Organic Grapes is a range of wines coming from certified organic vineyards and it expresses our goal of emphasizing organic agriculture, peacefully coexisiting with the environment. Grape composition 100% Malbec - organically grown grapes Tasting Notes Color: Violet-intense purple, concentrated and bright. Aroma: A complex nose with varietals notes of ripe fruits, figs, prunes, jam and raisins. Flavor: A good body, with sweet tannins and a well balanced acidity. A lingering complex finish.
Bonterra Chardonnay 2016Our organic fruit from Mendocino County offer the characteristic flavors of green apples, pears, and citrus to our chardonnay. We ferment 70% of the juice in a combination of French and American oak, which is allowed to undergo malolactic fermentation to create a rich, creamy wine with just a touch of new oak spice. The remaining 30% is fermented in stainless steel to preserve the crisp fresh fruit flavors. We age most of the wine using previously-used or neutral oak in order for these fresh fruit characteristics to shine through. New oak was used for just 16% of the wine to give this chardonnay a nice vanilla note. An initial impression of rich, buttery cream quickly turns to aromas of honey and lightly toasted almonds, followed by tropical aromas of pineapple, citrusy lemon and crème brulee. The wine is refreshing on the palate, with a minerality that is both bright and clean, drawing you into a vibrant tartness and lemon zest that is absolutely, positively Bonterra Chardonnay, vintage after vintage.
Chateau Maris La Touge Syrah 2015La Touge 2012 is a blend of 60% Syrah and40% Grenache grown on hard and soft limestone and alluvial soils. vinification happens in a mix of concrete and conical oak foudre and it is aged for 12 months in 30% new oak and the rest in two and three years barrels. Like all our wines, it is bottled unfined and unfiltered and is thus suitable for vegetarians and vegans. The nose is ripe black fruits (blackcurrants, elderberries) notes alongside more spicy characteristics (pepper, herbs). The palate is very attractive with firm yet silky tannins. Aromatic, spicy with a fabulously generous weight. May 2015 Bremer's Staff Pick Brittany is one of our newest employees at Bremer’s! Bonterra Sauvignon Blanc 2016Our Sauvignon Blanc celebrates the fresh lively spirit of organic viticulture, and the crafting of this wine truly begins in the vineyards. For this vintage, we blended fruit from three distinctive yet complementary growing regions in Mendocino, Lake and Sonoma counties. There is no mistaking the New World style of this wine. Intense aromas of citrus, grapefruit and fresh cut grass greet the nose. As you drink, the crisp acidity makes this wine particularly refreshing.
