Montes Alpha Pinot Noir 2012Beautiful and delicate ruby-red color. Intense and elegant nose, with predominance of strawberry and flowery notes, that together make this Pinot Noir a very lively, harmonious and generous wine. On the palate it is clean, well balanced, with soft rounded tannins and a good level of acidity. The wine is long in the mouth and shows well-integrated, balanced oak. The wine is very lightly filtered, making the aromas and color very expressive of Pinot Noir.
Viña Aquitania Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon 2013Ruby wine. Very elegant nose with intense aromas of fresh red fruits like cherries and cassis, combined with spicy notes. The palate is soft with round tannins and long finish, highlighting its fruitiness combined with the wood from the barrel that aging brings.
19 Crimes The Banished 201619 Crimes turned criminals into colonists. Upon conviction, these rogues, guilty of at least 1 of the 19 crimes, were sentenced to live in Australia, rather than death. "The Banished" is a tribute to James McNally Wilson (1832-1921). In 1866 Wilson was court martialed for desertion and mutinous conduct and placed aboard the last convict ship to sail to Australia. In 1876 Wilson survived a dangerous escape from his prisoin in Fremantle and fled to New York, spending his remaining years in the U.S. A blend that is brooding with richness. Like the wine rations served on convict ships, every sip deserves to be savored.
Adentu Cabernet Sauvignon 2015Lovely and intense ruby color. It has a nice aroma with notes of red ripe fruits, strawberry, hints of plums and some tons of vanilla. In mouth is fresh and well rounded, good concetration and persistency.
Tavernello Pinot Grigio 2015This Pinot has beautiful apple and sweet pear aromas on the nose and a velvety, perfectly balanced texture. Served well chilled, it can be enjoyed on its own or as the perfect accompaniment to cold meats, light salads and creamy pasta dishes.
Bread & Butter Pinot Noir 2015The nose is really pretty - lots of floral, chocolate, cherry cola, with a hint of pears and caramel. It has a dusty, earthy aroma that keeps you interested long after your glass is empty. In fact, there is almost a hint of chocolate chip cookie, making me wish I was sitting in front of a fireplace. The gorgeous aromas are echoed on the palate. Ripe cherries and dark chocolate dominate. There is raspberry, roasted nuts, orange liquor, and a hint of chalk…actually, it's more like crushed Pez candies (no, I'm not drunk). The texture is super smooth, soft, and balanced. Not too much acid or tannin. Serve it cool to the touch for the best presentation.

Dry Creek Sauvignon Blanc 2015This delicious wine incorporates small amounts of Sauvignon Musqué and Sauvignon Gris which adds a layer of depth and a fleshy, full-bodied mouthfeel. At first swirl, this wine presents aromas of honeydew melon, ripe pear and some floral notes. On the palate, flavors of Meyer lemons, tangerines and mineral notes come through with a slightly creamy, but lively finish. Stainless steel fermentation was supplemented with small amounts of chestnut, acacia and French oak barrels adding additional character and nuance to this delicious wine. Mulderbosch Sauvignon Blanc 2014Beautifully crisp, clean colour with a fresh green hue. This is a really classy style of Sauvignon Blanc displaying both restraint and exuberance at the same time. Classic notes of gunflint, graphite and an elderflower aromatics are balanced by more exuberant notes of fresh green figs and zesty grapefruit. In addition these aromas have good intensity and evolve slowly once in the glass. Multifaceted flavours of Sauvignon Blanc are revealed upon tasting this wine. From almost savoury notes of sage and green olive to more obviously fruity flavours of ripe quince, rock melon and green fig. There's a pithy grapefruit texture to the palate that is well balanced by fresh, yet firm acidity and a delicious length, leading onto a clean, fresh finish that persists for some time.

Au Bon Climat Santa Barbara County Chardonnay 2014Au Bon Climat has been making balanced, food friendly Chardonnays since 1982. Even in the early 2000s when ripe, oaky Chardonnays were all the rage, Au Bon Climat stuck to a more subtle and refined style, with minerality and intensity. This is one of those wines that invites the consumer to have another glass. At this young age, this wine would be perfect with shellfish or poultry. It will improve for at least 10 years and as it evolves, try this wine with chanterelle mushroom pasta and be amazed.
